President, Accuride Wheels

Scott Hazlett has served as President/Wheels, since November 2015 and has responsibility for growing Accuride’s Wheels business on a global basis and developing new wheel technologies. He leads all Accuride Wheels operations in North America and Europe, including the Italian wheel manufacturer Gianetti Ruote S.r.l., in which Accuride acquired a majority stake in November 2015.  He is a member of the Accuride Leadership Team and reports directly to Accuride President & CEO Rick Dauch.  Gianetti Ruote Managing Director Joe Brodzinski reports directly to Hazlett.

Hazlett previously served as Senior Vice President/Operations since September 2012. In that capacity, he was responsible for steel and aluminum wheel and wheel-end manufacturing and product management.  He had matrix accountability for deploying product development and process engineering activities across all Wheels and Gunite manufacturing facilities. Hazlett joined the company in September 2011 as Senior Vice President, Accuride Wheels.

Hazlett is an accomplished senior executive with an excellent record of building, integrating and revitalizing a variety of business enterprises. He has broad-based and global industrial business management experience with demonstrated success in highly complex, challenging change environments. An inspirational leader, Hazlett has proven expertise in building and aligning effective management teams and creating efficient, high-performance organizations.

Prior to joining Accuride, Hazlett was President and CEO of Kansas City-based MachineryLink, Inc., an early-stage agricultural services platform. Prior to MachineryLink, Hazlett was a Partner with Conway Mackenzie & Dunleavy, a Detroit-based professional services and industrial turnaround firm, where he focused his energy on the firm’s interim management and operations practice.

He previously served as group president of TriMas Corporation’s Cequent transportation accessories unit, a $540 million global manufacturer, marketer and distributor of a wide range of highly-engineered metal fabricated, plastic and electrical products for consumer and commercial towing, trailering and cargo management markets.  He earlier held multi-national division leadership roles with Case Corporation, CNH Global, and James River Corporation.

Preceding his corporate career, Hazlett served for 10 years in the U.S. Army as a Field Artillery Officer.  His assignments included battery command with the 8th Infantry Division in Europe and subsequent appointment to the staff and faculty at the United States Military Academy at West Point.

Hazlett holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point, a Master of Business Administration degree from Long Island University and a Master’s degree in education from Auburn University, and has completed the Executive Management Program at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.

Vice President/OEM Sales, Marketing and Business Development

Chad Monroe has served as Vice President/OEM Sales, Marketing and Business Development since January 2014 and reports directly to Accuride President & CEO Rick Dauch.  Monroe is responsible for managing the Company’s relationships with its global OEM customers and leading its Marketing and Business Development initiatives.  The Gianetti Ruote sales function reports directly to him.

Monroe works closely with Accuride Leadership Team to expand business with Accuride’s primary OEM customers in North America, Europe and on a global basis.  Previously, Monroe led Accuride’s Investor Relations and Business Development functions.  Since joining Accuride, he led the Company’s efforts to narrow its strategic focus and divest non-core businesses not aligned with that strategy.   He also assisted in the re-listing of Accuride on the New York Stock Exchange in 2010.

He joined Accuride in May 2006 from Ford Motor Company, where he held a range of roles in pricing and financial analysis.  He held several manufacturing finance roles and had pricing responsibility for various vehicle platforms.

Monroe earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Finance, and Master of Business Administration in Finance from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.

Managing Director, Accuride Europe

Joe Brodzinski has served as Managing Director of Gianetti Ruote S.r.l. since Accuride took a majority stake in the business in November 2015.  In this capacity, he is responsible for all aspects of the Gianetti Ruote Operations and reports directly to Scott Hazlett, President/Wheels.

Brodzinski is an experienced operations improvement leader, who has managed facility upgrades and Lean manufacturing systems implementation while at Accuride.  After joining the Company in May 2012, he led the launches of a range of capital investment projects across Accuride.  He later served as Interim Operations Director of Accuride de Mexico.  Prior to his leadership role with Gianetti, Brodzinski had been Director/Manufacturing Engineering in Operations.

Brodzinski came to Accuride following an 18-year career with global automotive component supplier American Axle and Manufacturing (AAM).  While with AAM, he held roles as Senior Manager of Advanced Programs and Plant Manager, among others.  Previously, he had worked in General Motors’ Product Development Engineering for General Motors in Detroit, Michigan.

Brodzinski earned his Master of Science in Manufacturing from Kettering University and his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the GMI Institute, both in Michigan.
